First Aid: If swallowed or contents come into contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek immediate medical help.
Use on clean, dry skin. Tear open plastic packet, remove protective film from patch. Patch will activate in 60 seconds and remain warm for up to 8 hours. Apply patch to the affected area, adhesive side onto the skin. To remove, slowly peel off the patch. For delicate or ageing skin, apply adhesive side of patch to clothing. On flexible joints use dressing tape to hold the patch in place. Do not bandage over the patch.

How should you apply heated back patches?
Simply remove the protective film from the heat patch, and adhere it directly onto your back area. The patch will stick firmly on clean, dry skin. The iron oxide contained in the patch reacts within 60 seconds when it is exposed to air. Muscles, ligaments or joints will warm and become soothed and alleviate your pain.
Can you have a heat patch on for too long?
Heat patches should be used for a maximum of 8 hours.
It is also advisable to:
- avoid sleeping with heat patch
- avoid applying continuous pressure to patch
- avoid using multiple heat patches in the same area for 24 hours
- avoid using in conjunction with topical heat creams and gels
